Megan is the youngest member of our team at 20. Originally from Rabun County, Georgia, she moved to Athens to attend UGA. Megan is now a senior at UGA, majoring in Animal Science with a focus in Equine Management. Megan worked at Rabun Animal Hospital throughout high school and into college doing everything from food/water to medicating and blood draws. She also worked at a barn for a summer and has been riding horses since middle school. During the summer she made extra money pet sitting for friends and family. Growing up her family always had at least a dog, and currently she has a three-legged rescue Trixie and SDiT lab, Shadow. Megan is raising Shadow as a service dog for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. She also trained all of her personal dogs, helped other family friends with training their pets, including horses. Her favorite things to do include exploring Athens (mostly the food), hanging out with friends, watching Netflix, and working with Shadow.
